Vancouver Sun Run 2006.

This is the 2006 Vancouver Sun Run, approximately 60,000+ runners.

(I'm in the red in the back there)

My work sponsored our registrations so I couldn't say no. It was my first time, and the weather was great. It ended in BC Place, where snacks and health drinks were to choose from. I definitely encourage all to join the Sun Run upcoming year.

My times are below.

Still Waiting....2008

This is the pre-construction project that I've invested in to be built/finished 2008. I would circle my suite in red but I have no time, maybe later.

Will you be my Valentine?

Feb 13, 2006

Kenneth: Okay Grandma, I'm going to work now...
Grandma: Oh okay bye (walks to room, then back)
Grandma: Kenneth? Is today Valentines?
Kenneth: No Grandma, it is the 13th. Tomorrow is Valentines.
Grandma: Oh I thought today was already Valentines, because I was going to ask, will you be my Valentine?

Happy Halloween!

We had our halloween party on Friday, costumes, pumpkins, and beer, in our Bentall building. It was my first staff party and I had a great time. I wore a real japanese kimono my sister bought while living in Japan. Seeing that I was already downtown and started drinking at 4PM, I stayed in Vancouver and bar hopped around Van with some co-workers and then on to another bar where I hooked up with some more friends. This was great, never knew working downtown would lead to partying downtown and relying on translink to get me home. Luckily I was able to get a ride home from a friend to avoid sleeping at work, since I worked the next morning anyways. Oh well...

Work hard play hard...

Working in Financial District - Burrard St., Vancouver

Work has been moving along quite smoothly, especially working downtown, no more long commutes or gas expenses, GOT TRANSLINK?

39 minute commutes give me enough time to get a steeped tea and a toffee danish from Tim Horton's on Burrard before starting work. It's STEEPED!

As for working in the Bentall 5 building [www.bentall5.com], its great, and being part of a company that has a rep of one of BC's largest custom managed web hosting franchises Canadian and internationally.

Can't get too comfortable, since I only hopped onto this bandwagon recently, but I am preparing myself for the long haul...

Stay tuned! This blog should get interesting with some photos and links to various sites I have yet to create.
